Squash victories ‘Galore’

24/06/2008 8:58:00 AM
WEEK four in Bega’s Top Video Squash Competition saw the popular Barbecues Galore side consolidate their position at the head of the D grade ladder.

The team has established a five-point break from the pack and are now clear favourites for the trophy.

A similar pattern has emerged in A Grade, with Beaurepaires seven points clear of the chasing teams.

This week’s Top Video Player of the week is Robert Lucas, who came back from the sick list to record a solid victory over Peter Bolst.

Members are reminded that there are only four weeks left until the Club Championships, so make sure you get your name on the nomination sheet in the club rooms.
